Dr. John 'Jack' Sanders - Veterinarian

Dr. John 'Jack' Sanders has spent most of his life in Virginia, after his family moved to the state in 2008.

He graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After that, he earned a Master of Science in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences at Virginia Tech in 2020, with a focus in parasitology. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University. Following graduation, he moved back to Virginia and married his wife, a Stephens City native.

Dr. Sanders’ special interests include all things canine as well as surgery, and he has a soft spot for small ruminants.

Dr. Sanders lives with his wife and their rescue dog Lucy. In his free time, he likes to spend time outside hiking, walking Lucy, or reading.
