
Dr. Mary Margaret Applin is a graduate of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech.
She has worked in small animal private practice since 1999 and enjoys working with her clients to develop an appropriate plan for their companions whether they are healthy or sick.
Dr. Applin is a native of Virginia and attended the University of Virginia where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies. She worked in publishing and with study abroad programs before realizing her ultimate dream of veterinary medicine. Her interest in international work led her to volunteer for a month in Jordan, where she taught at the veterinary school and worked in a humane center providing care to local small animal owners.
She lives in Winchester with her husband, son, 2 dogs, and 4 cats. Outside the animal hospital, she is active in her church and volunteers at the Winchester SPCA.
