Ultrasound is a safe and non-invasive diagnostic procedure that allows us to visualize the internal organs of your pet. Ultrasounds also do not require your pet be sedated during the procedure.
At Roseville Veterinary Clinic, we use the ultrasound to help us quickly identify and locate tumors, stones, cysts, inflammation and many other health problems. We can also use ultrasound to visualize fetal heartbeats during pregnancy, which helps us to make sure your pet’s offspring are developing healthily.
Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce a real-time image of your pet’s internal organs. Results are received in real time from sound waves that travel into the body, returning a 3D image of the internal organs. These high-definition images let our veterinarians to see how the organs are functioning in real time.
